Megan Oesterreich, LCSW is a certified parent educator with a decade of experience teaching the Nonviolent Parenting curriculum developed by Ruth Beaglehole, founder of The Center for Nonviolent Education and Parenting (now Echo). This parenting philosophy integrates connecting communication, brain development, parental growth and empathy based understanding of behaviors. Megan assists parents in learning and implementing this parenting paradigm and supporting them as they improve their practice.

Megan is also available to speak on parenting and interpersonal neurobiology topics and often presents to parents and teachers at preschools, elementary and middle schools.



Consultations for specific parenting concerns.  Megan uses the Nonviolent Parenting Philosophy and integrates interpersonal neurobiology to assist parents with strategies and better understand behaviors.  

Session rate is $195 per 50 min session. 




This is a 6 session class meeting 2 hours a week for 6 consecutive weeks.  The course is based upon the Nonviolent Parenting Curriculum created by Ruth Beaglehole formerly of Echo Parenting and Education.  

Topics include: Nonviolent Parenting Philosophy, Empathy, Emotional Intelligence, Connecting Communication, Brain and Child Development, Emotional Regulation, Setting Limits.

Cost is $400 per person or $600 per co-parenting couple.
